You know, God really doesn't need all our "stuff." He just needs people who will dare to swim upstream and just do it.
The monument in the distance is situated in the approximate spot the legendary revivalist, George Whitfield, stood and preached to over 10,000 people without the aid of an amplification system in 1742 in Cambuslang, Scotland. Thus began one of the greatest revivals in Scotland's history. I don't agree with much of Whitfield's theology nor his philosophy of life in general, but there is no doubt God used him to begin what is known as the Great Awakening in North America as well as the United Kingdom.
God still uses whom He wants to, where He wants to, when He wants to, and He doesn't need all our "stuff."
